Simone Ashley and Joshua Jackson have played their fair share of romantic leads on screen, but it looks like the two might be finding a spark in their real lives.

Over the weekend, the Hollywood stars inspired dating rumors when they were seen taking a stroll together through New York City, laughing and walking closely. Notably, this is the first time they’ve ever been spotted as a unit.

Jackson kept it casual in a white tee and gray slacks, which he paired with matching slate-gray sneakers featuring orange check logos from Nike.

Ashley was a bit more experimental with her look, which consisted of a baby-blue bustier camisole with lace trim, which she paired with a silvery snakeskin skirt. Her footwear—white Nike trainers—was fitting for the active occasion, and she added a pop of color thanks to a yellow raffia grass tote from Prada.

While the nature of their relationship is still unclear, Jackson must have love on the mind these days, as he films a new romance trilogy with his former Dawson’s Creek costar (and ex-girlfriend) Katie Holmes. The films see the two play a long-term couple who face sudden uncertainties when a series of outer forces put their relationship to the test.

Ashley, meanwhile, has stayed busy herself, with current projects like The Devil Wears Prada 2 and season four of Bridgerton underway, as well as the upcoming thriller This Tempting Madness.

The British star split from her boyfriend, lawyer Constantin “Tino” Klein, at the beginning of this year, who she had been with since 2022.

As for Jackson, he was in a relationship with fellow actress Lupita Nyong’o from 2023 to 2024, having previously been married to Jodie Turner-Smith for four years and Diane Kruger for 10. He and Turner-Smith share a five-year-old daughter named Juno Rose Diana Jackson.
